Short version: We collect email addresses from subscribers and anonymized analytics data. We do not collect health information, names, or financial data. We do not sell or share your data. We do not use advertising networks or tracking pixels.

What We Collect

Ibogaine Finder collects the minimum data necessary to operate the site:

  • Email addresses — only if you subscribe to our newsletter. Subscription is opt-in only.
  • Analytics data — page views, referrer, browser type, and approximate location (country/region level). IP addresses are anonymized before storage.
  • Contact form submissions — if you contact us via the about page.

We do not collect names, precise location, financial information, or any health or medical data.

Analytics

This site uses two analytics tools, both configured to minimize data collection:

  • Google Analytics 4 — IP anonymization enabled.
  • Matomo — self-hosted on our server. IP addresses are anonymized. Respects Do Not Track browser settings.

Cookies

We use only analytics cookies. No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no cross-site tracking.

  • Google Analytics cookies last up to 2 years.
  • Matomo sets session cookies (30 minutes) and optional persistent cookies (up to 13 months).

Third-Party Services

  • Cloudflare — CDN and DDoS protection. Processes requests between your browser and our server.
  • Google Fonts — loaded from Google's servers, which may log your IP and browser.

We do not use advertising networks, social media tracking pixels, or affiliate tracking.

Newsletter

If you subscribe, your email address is stored in our database solely to send you ibogaine research updates — FDA news, trial results, and safety alerts. We send infrequently. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. We never sell, rent, or share subscriber lists.

Data Retention

  • Analytics data is retained for 24 months and then automatically deleted.
  • Subscriber email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. We will respond within 30 days. European users have additional rights under GDPR and UK GDPR.
